Advanex Global Operation’s Leadership Forum

The biannual global conference for Advanex was recently held in the United Kingdom. Leaders from across the globe visited the UK Advanex sites, recognised as leading the way with engineering and innovation skills, to share and discuss their 5-year growth plans. This years’ group theme is “Breakthrough” – to challenge and expand the boundaries of our existing technologies and solutions to better serve our customers’ requirements for their future growth. In addition to visiting their local sites the group enjoyed various locally themed activities and cuisine.

During their visit, the group took some time out to enjoy a walk around Southwell Minster. They were joined by The Oxton Church Handbells Group to sample bell ringing at The Great Hall in the Archbishops Palace. The group enjoyed the performance from the volunteer group as they played popular music such as Greensleeves and Happy Birthday. The global leaders even joined in and had a go themselves.

Paul Clifford, Managing Director commented, “The group really enjoyed the performance from Oxton Church Handbells Group. It was great to get everybody involved. It was very important for us to encourage the global group to participate in local traditions in a venue that is so historically significant to the nation. All attendees are returning to their home country with fond memories of the local area and the hospitality they have received while visiting, hoping that one day they will have an opportunity to return”.
